Lock In Volunteers

Posted on Jan 13 2026 - 9:07am

Hi Troop parents, we still need volunteers for next week's lock-in.

For all the parents hesitant to join the troop campouts this is a great opportunity to support the troop without sleeping outside!

Thank You from Adopt-A-Family

    • Easy one, attending camp outs
    • Troop positions such as fundraising chair, service project chair, Scouting for Food chair, Troop Lock In chair, etc.
    • Merit Badge Counselor is a great opportunity, especially for Eagle required merit badges, as it helps the PLC plan Troop activities
    • Another opportunity is getting certified in a Council provided program so the Troop has readily available/Council required certified adults for programs such as shooting sports, climbing, ropes course, etc.
    • No matter how you choose to help out (attending campouts, troop position, merit badge counselor, etc.), all adults need to be registered with Scouting America and is easily done

I believe I’ve hit everything and again, please reach out with questions or with volunteer inquiries.
